Here is a little nostalgic clip I found. May not use the latest technology of today but it was sort of high-tech for its time (early 90’s). The reason why I uploaded this particular video is because I like the way they have solved the problem. It doesn’t use any advanced sensors, just some infrared beam detectors. It is simple, cost-effective and has enough precision to create a good overall game experience.
It is inventions like this that have made the gaming industry into what it is today with the new level in gaming where you use more inputs than just pushes of buttons on a controller (For example the wiimote)
