Mozilla Seabird – A Community-driven Mobile Phone Concept

Mozilla, the company behind the web browser Firefox, recently presented a video of a concept phone, designed by Billy May. The concept phone is called Mozilla Seabird and shows ideas of what might be the new standard when multi-touch no longer feels as cool and new as today, which i find highly interesting. One of the features is a wireless dongle that is used to navigate through the interface. If the phone is placed on a table, another feature appears when projectors show a keyboard. The keyboard is tapped on directly on the table in what is called an “IR Touchpad Area”.
