This project, created by Paul Jenkins, enabled Nike shoes to be used as Nintendo Wii controllers. This was basically done by hacking a Wii balance board, and installing the sensors from the balance board into the shoes. These shoes can preferably be used in sport games, for example.

I find the idea of making computer gaming more physical interesting. It has long been said that too much gaming might reduce the physical activities one would otherwise perform outdoors. However, with modern technology, physical activity and gaming can be combined which is quite revolutionary. It becomes more motivating to go for a run when it can be done in a stimulating environment at home, while still gaining health benefits from it.
